Doing business with Nottinghamshire Police
Procurement
Nottinghamshire Police currently spends around £40 million a year on the procurement of goods, services and works.
The aim of our Procurement Department is to continuously improve the force's procurement function and provide best value through its contracting arrangements.
The department provides specialist advice and support to the force in all tasks related to buying supplies and services using a variety of contractual arrangements ranging from small simple orders to large projects.
The department employs six staff and has dedicated resources for procuring goods, services and works, contract management and strategic projects.
The department does not operate and maintain its own approved supplier list.

How to sell to Nottinghamshire Police
All our tender activities are conducted electronically. As such suppliers are required to register their details on the Bluelight Emergency Services Procurement Electronic Tendering System.
Registration is free and as the site is a complete web-based e-tendering solution, all suppliers need is internet access - no special software or equipment is required.
Once registered you will be able to view and express interest in tender opportunities from Nottinghamshire Police as well as those from other participating authorities.
Nottinghamshire Police is also keen to use collaborative arrangements where they join with other police forces and public sector organisations to contract for a range of goods and services. These contract opportunities are normally advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) by the authority leading the process.
Lower value tender opportunities are also available at the Source Nottinghamshire website.
