Our Customer Service Standards

Nottinghamshire Police is committed to providing a high quality and professional service to our customers whenever and wherever they have contact with us and for whatever reason.

We deal with a wide range of enquiries and incidents reported by the public every day. Some of these are straightforward and can be dealt with over the telephone or at a police station. Others are more complex and need further investigation before they can be resolved.

We cannot guarantee that we will always be able to solve every crime or problem that you report to us. Sometimes, there may not be sufficient evidence available for us to be able to identify and arrest an offender.

We will, however, look at other ways to resolve your problem. Sometimes, the best solution comes from the police working in partnership with other organisations and the local community to tackle the problem.

Above all, we strive to provide a service that responds professionally and appropriately to people's individual needs. We want our customers to feel satisfied that we have taken their concerns seriously and provided the highest quality of service to them.
