Paul Scarrott

Mr Scarrott joined Nottinghamshire Police as Assistant Chief Constable in June 2010.

He previously served with West Midlands Police where he was a Unit Commander for seven years, the last three in Handsworth in Birmingham.


ACC Scarrott has extensive partnership experience and of working with diverse communities to reduce crime, improve confidence, protect the vulnerable, control gang behaviour and prevent violent extremism.

He has a BSc in Engineering and an MA in Police Management.
Mr Scarrott, who is married to a district nurse and has three teenage children, lives in Nottinghamshire.

ACC Scarrott’s portfolio includes Demand Management, Response, Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships and Offender Management.
