Estates and Facilities Management
Tim's role
Tim leads, manages and develops the Estates and Facilities Management team to enable it to provide a high quality, professional, business-focused service that drives and supports the delivery of the Force’s strategic aims.
Duties and responsibilities
Tim is responsible for the development, implementation and review of the Force's estates strategy and policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with the Force’s strategic aims.
He ensures the Estates and Facilities Management service is fit for purpose and delivers immediate and long-term service goals in support of organisational requirements.
Tim reviews the police estate assets and space standards to ensure they best meet stated service requirements and that assets which are surplus to requirements are identified and disposed of cost effectively.
He develops and manages the Force's Capital and Revenue programmes and budgets relating to the whole estate, identifies appropriate targets for estate performance and carries out regular benchmarking exercises both within and outside the Authority.
