Human Resources and Organisational Development
Sharon's role
Sharon provides leadership, vision and strategic direction to the Human Resources and Organisational Development team, ensuring the function has the right capability and design to provide the high quality of support required to sustain and improve our service to the public.
She is also responsible for developing, implementing and reviewing Human Resources strategy, policies and procedures and initiating organisational development interventions which are business focused and support the delivery of the Force’s strategic aims and enable drivers of organisational performance.
Duties and responsibilities
Sharon leads on the development and ongoing management of behavioural and culture change, initiating organisational development interventions to ensure the Force is well positioned to deliver long term goals.
She develops and implements strategies, policies and programmes which drive organisational performance and deliver improved skill levels and flexibility covering leadership, workforce planning, resourcing, succession and talent management.
Sharon also champions diversity, human rights and equality, working in partnership with key stakeholders.
