Have you seen stolen garden equipment?

Has anyone tried to sell you garden ornaments or equipment that you believe may be stolen?

Thieves struck at a garden centre in Jacksdale in October and stole thousands of pounds (£) worth of stock.

It happened some time after 4.15am and before Jacksdale Garden Centre in Main Road opened at 9am on Saturday 6 October 2012.

Thieves are believed to have taken out fence panels to gain entry into the grounds of the centre. They stole dozens of electric pumps and a number of ornamental/decorative garden items, which in total amounted to thousands of pounds (£).

A witness reported seeing three white men in their early to mid-20s loading items into a silver-hatchback car outside the centre before driving off in the direction of Westwood.
