Witness appeal to city collision

Police are trying to trace the driver of a car who failed to stop at the scene of a crash in the city centre.
The dark coloured vehicle collided with a pedestrian in Derby Road, Lenton, at about 2.30am today (18 October 2012) and drove off in the direction of Canning Circus.
The 19-year-old woman was taken to the QMC where she remains in a serious condition.
