Did you see intruders?

Masked men armed with weapons injured a man after barging into his family home.  

The three burglars went into the house in Hazel Hill Crescent, Bestwood Park, carrying a knife, a hammer and a large stick   at about 8.30pm on Wednesday 13 February 2013.

A 66-year-old man was left with minor injuries to his head and hand. His wife, 63, and their 25-year-old son, suffered minor bruising. 


The men fled from the property empty handed. They ran down an alley towards Beckhampton Road.
 
Two of the offenders are described as black and the third is possibly mixed race. They were all wearing black hooded tops, facial coverings, black gloves and were in their late teens. One is about 5ft 8in tall and the other two are about 6ft tall.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have either witnessed the incident or have any information relating to it to contact them as soon as possible on 101.
