Victim of Coddington collision named

A 73-year-old man who died following a collision on the A17 in Coddington has been named by police.

Leigh William Robbins was driving a Vauxhall Meriva when it collided with a stationary lorry.

It happened just before 1pm on Thursday 3 January, near to the junction with Drove Lane.

Mr Robbins, from Mansfield, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was injured in the incident.

Witnesses are asked to call the Crash Investigation Unit on 101, extension 800 2225, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
