Woman disturbs robber in her home

Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery at an address in Newark.
It happened in Balderton Gate area at about 7pm on Saturday 12 January 2013 when a woman disturbed a thief in the bedroom of her flat.
The suspect, who was about 5ft 11ins tall, of stocky build, aged in his 30s and wearing a dark fitted top, ran off empty handed.
The woman, in her 60s, was left shaken by the ordeal but was not injured.
