- You can arrest a thief but remember that your safety and that of your workers is more important than property
- Make sure all staff understand safety and security procedures and how to follow them
- Train staff to be aware of the early signs of aggression and how to deal with it
- Consider whether you need alarms, coded locks or video surveillance inside your premises
