I joined Nottinghamshire Police in 1995 as a Special Constable and joined full time in 1999.
My career started at Central Police station and then onto St Anns Police station where I worked on a pro active policing team.
I went onto the Dog section in 2002 where I stayed until 2012 as a Police dog handler working a German Shepherd and a Springer Spaniel. This work involved high visibility police work, drugs, traffic and firearm incidents and public order work.
In 2013 I became a temporary Inspector on a response team covering the City conurbation area and now I am the Inspector for the St Ann's and Mapperley area.
I feel excited and privileged to have this opportunity to work together with our community to ensure our area is safe and our community receive an excellent service from my professional and committed team and I.
