Job Preparation Course
Nottinghamshire Police working in partnership with Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service recently created and held our first Job Preparation course.
This new initiative was also run in partnership with Job Centre Plus and Instant Muscle and took place over a 6- week period.
The course was designed to provide pre-employment training for black minority e
thnic candidates who were interested in a career in Nottinghamshire Police or Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service. The training enabled participants to develop some of the skills that will better prepare them to apply to each respective service.
Since the course ended, all participants have gone on to apply for either Nottinghamshire Police or Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service.
Nottinghamshire Police will be looking at running further courses in late 2006.
