Recruitment information session - Asian Women's Project
Nottinghamshire Police in partnership with the Asian Women’s Project (Noel Street, Nottingham) ran an event regarding career opportunities within Nottinghamshire Police. Thirty women attended throughout the day.
The day covered the recruitment process for Police Officers and police staff roles. It also explored many of the misconceptions regarding the requirements to be a Police Officer, such as religious dress.
Inspector Gurmit Kaur and PCSOs Kulwinder Bazaz and Nicola Bagnall provided a valuable and inspiring talk regarding their roles and experiences within Nottinghamshire Police.
The women who attended thought that the information received was very useful and they learned a lot about the different roles within Nottinghamshire Police.
