Newark

Newark

Newark Neighbourhood Policing Area covers the historic market town of Newark and its surrounding area. Stretching from Thorney in the north to Elston in the south, the Neighbourhood Policing Area covers extensive farmland and a stretch of the A1.

Police in Newark strive to provide a visible presence and have a committed team of Beat Managers, Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) and Special Constables. Community engagement is very strong and volunteers help to run police contact points at Collingham and Farndon.

Newark continues to enjoy low crime levels with significant recent reductions in vehicle crime and burglary.
