Sherwood

The Sherwood Neighbourhood Policing Area covers part of the Newark and Sherwood District Council local authority area and has 49 separate parishes. The main centres of population are Blidworth, Rainworth, Clipstone, Edwinstowe, Ollerton and Southwell.

This diverse area ranges from mining communities to farming and agriculture along the River Trent. The thriving local tourist industry includes Southwell Minster, Rufford Country Park, Sherwood Forest and the Center Parcs Holiday Village.

The area has three police stations located at Ollerton, Southwell and Blidworth and a partnerships office at Bilsthorpe.
