Ashfield North

Not only one of the largest Neighbourhood Policing Areas in the county, Ashfield North is also one of the busiest outside the city of Nottingham.

The Neighbourhood Policing Area incorporates the former coalfield towns of Sutton-in-Ashfield and Kirkby-in-Ashfield, nearby Huthwaite, Stanton Hill, Teversal, Woodhouse and the rural parish of Annesley.

Ashfield North is currently divided into 10 beats each with their own named Beat Managers and Police Community Support Officers offering visible and effective policing.

Key priorities across the Neighbourhood Policing Area continue to be house burglary, auto-crime and violent crime. Anti-social behaviour and other issues affecting local communities are also very high on our agenda.
