Meet the Neighbourhood Policing
Team Inspector

Inspector Andy Clarke

Inspector Andy Clarke

Inspector Andy Clarke joined the force in 1985 when he was stationed as a Police Constable at the Meadows.

He moved to Sutton in 1987 and worked at both Sutton and Kirkby before moving to the traffic department in 1991.

Ten years later he returned to the division and was promoted to Sergeant in 2003, based at Mansfield.

He has since taken on various acting and temporary roles and was made Ashfield North Neighbourhood Policing Inspector in October 08.

He said: “My aim is to ensure we provide a bespoke service which looks after individual needs and expectations in relation to the police service.

"I have a highly motivated team and excellent relations with our partner agencies.

"I am particularly interested in quality of life issues where communities are affected by acquisitive crime, violent crime and anti-social behaviour.

"We have got various operations running, both covert and overt, across Ashfield North to tackle these issues, which in turn will improve quality of life for local residents.

Our Neighbourhood Policing Team is committed to bringing on board the public to maximise information from the public to form part of local policing. By consulting with partner agencies we can provide a specific response to community or individual needs to resolve local problems.

"I am always striving to make any improvements we can to our service. If you would like to discuss an issue with me please don’t hesitate to contact me on tel 0300 300 99 99 Ext 806 3660 or email me at Andrew.Clarke@ Nottinghamshire.pnn.police.uk"
