Ainsley Estate is situated on the outskirts of Nottingham city centre. Ainsley Estate boundary is Wollaton Road junction with Crown Island that becomes Western Boulevard northbound, and then becomes Aspley Lane and junction with Melbourne Road is the very top of Ainsley Estate Beat. Then it comes back down Nuthall Road to Aspley Lane.
There are three different Educational sites on the area, two Primary Schools, Robert Shaw situated on Southwold Drive and Southwold Primary School situated on Kennington Road. The Nottingham Bluecoat School is the only secondary school situated on Aspley Lane, which has an integrated Sixth form.

CURRENT UPDATE FEBRUARY 2012
Year to date performance shows that the area has remained similar to last year. There are reasonable reductions in Robbery which is 66% down on 2010 – 2011, Burglary other is down over 12%, and violence is down over 8%.However these reductions have been affected by increased numbers in other areas. Burglary dwelling up by 21%, vehicle crime up 42%, criminal damage up 17%, and theft up 11%.
January crime figures do not show any significant spikes in crime. There is a slight reduction compared to January 2011 with reports being down over 24% for this month. The only noticeable reductions were around Violence which was down over 50% compared to January last year.
We are experiencing increased Anti Social Behaviour calls to the underpass Western Boulevard near the Beechdale Swimming Baths. We have made arrests and have targeted this area with extra patrols. We will be working with partners to our actions are followed up with Tenancy warnings.
We have had a great month with 24 Drugs Warrants being executed across the whole area. Over £103,000 worth of controlled Drugs seized. Numerous arrests made. We continue to work with our partners to ensure anyone convicted is evicted.
We are trying to encourage the Alert system in the area. By registering with Alert you will receive up to date information from us to help you prevent crime by being aware of what is happening in your area. Linking you with your Neighbourhood Policing team and making sure were all working together to make Denewood safer.
