    Our Response
    CURRENT UPDATE DECEMBER 2010
Nuisance vehicles speeding around the area.

ASB surrounding Birchover Park was raised at the Bilborough LAG meeting, so this will address some of the concerns raised in the Evening Post report.

In addition to Operation Bifurcate which was set up by the Bilborough Neighbourhood Policing Team to tackle the anti-social use of motor vehicles, the team have been using the speed camera to prosecute any offending motorists. There are no figures to show at this time; however this will change in the future. The next LAG meeting is to be held on 14th December 2010.
The area also holds Neighbourhood Action Team (NAT) Meetings, this meeting is where representatives from Nottinghamshire Police, Nottingham City Homes, Housing Association Authorities and other partner agencies get together and discuss specific individuals, households or community issues and plan how each can be resolved. The last NAT meeting was held on the 11th November. The next NAT meeting is scheduled to be held on 23rd December 2010.

    UPDATE NOVEMBER 2010
Due to the poor weather we have seen a reduction in incidents however we are continuing patrols, and will deal with any offenders positively.
    UPDATE September 2010
The Neighbourhood Policing Team have set up Operation Bifurcate, which was set up to help tackle this priority, is still in its early days.
If I could encourage members of public to keep telling us about these nuisance bikes and letting us know who is riding them and where they are coming from. We will use your information in the strictest of confidence and will act upon any such information we receive.
We will continue to conduct covert and high visibility patrols in all areas where mini motos are causing problems and will take positive action to rid these machines from our streets. We will work closely with other partner agencies to take tough action against any offenders.

Your help is desperately required in this matter if we are to rid these machines from the streets.

    Our Solution
    REVIEW:
There have been no reports of mini motos or vehicle related incidents. This could mainly be due to the adverse weather conditions we have been experiencing. The Neighbourhood Policing Team have continued to conduct high visibility patrols around the area to try and deter this people. Due to the fact that this issue has not been raised at the last couple of LAG meetings it has been decided that this issue can now be completed, due to the number of incidents. If however the incidents become worse then we will consider re-opening this plan and continue work on any individuals caught causing problems.
