Wollaton East is situated to the West of the city centre, within the city boundary.The area is within the boarders of ( and includes ) Charlbury Rd, Harrow Road, Wollaton Park, Trowell Road CO-OP, and includes the Torville Drive Estate.

      Kingwood Methodist Church, 7:00pm - 9:00pm
      A chance to meet you Safer Neighbourhood Team and to discuss any problems you may have within your area.
    • 15th Ward Walk
      To be confirmed, 1:00pm - 3:00pm
      The ward walk is where the Councillors, Neighbourhood Action Officer and your Local Beat Team meet up with local residents and walk round an area of Wollaton discussing issues you may be experiencing. This is a council run operation where council issues will be raised by members of the public and will be actioned by partners within the council and always the local police.

CURRENT UPDATE - FEBRUARY 2012
(For period 1st to 31st January 2012)

All Crime – 23 offences

Burglaries – 6 offences. 3 non dwelling and 3 dwelling

During January 2012 there have been 6 burglaries in the Wollaton East beat.

Non dwelling properties have been broken into on the following roads:
Far Rye – 16/01/2012 – 18:00hours an unknown offender gained access to victims garage and attempted to steal pedal cycle.
Torvill Drive – 21/01/2012 – Insecure garage has been left open overnight and 2 bikes stolen from within.
Dean Close – Between 01/01/2011 and 22/01/2012 – Access gained to garage over a period time and moped that was being stored has been stolen from within.

Dwelling properties have been broken into on the following roads:
Charlbury Road – 11/01/2012 – Offenders have entered insecure window overnight and have been disturbed whilst attempting to steal motor vehicle.
Runswick Drive – 12/01/2012 – Offenders have entered property between 13:00 and 17:30 by forcing rear window. Large quantity of jewellery stolen.
Courtney Close – Between 15:00hours 20/01/2012 and 21/01/2012 06:00hours – Rear ground floor window forced open. No entry made to property.

Auto crime – 4 offences

During January 2012 there have been 4 vehicles broken into, stolen, or had thefts from in the Wollaton East Beat.

Co op Supermarket Middleton Boulevard – 10/01/2012 10:30hours – Window to vehicle smashed. Cigarettes taken.
Elvaston Road – 13/01/2012 21:00hours – Motor vehicle stolen from driveway.
Courtney Close – 21/01/2012 Overnight – Vehicle entered overnight whilst parked on the driveway. Entry believed made via car keys which were left on the inside of the front door. Nothing stolen.
Russell Avenue – 25/01/2012 Between 24/01/2012 17:30 and 25/01/2012 08:30. Insecure motor vehicle parked on driveway has been entered and untidy search made. Sunglasses stolen from within.

Criminal Damage – 5 offences

During January 2012 there have been 5 offence of criminal damage on the Wollaton East Beat.

Radford Bridge Road – Between 11/01/2012 and 14/01/2012 – Front door damaged.
Wollaton Hall – 22/01/2012 – Glass panel to the platform lift damaged.
2010 Hair Studio Limited – Between 25/01/2012 20:00 and 26/01/2012 08:20 – Suspects have fired a pellet at window causing it to crack.
Bridge Road – 30/01/2012 – Unknown suspects have smashed front window of parked motor vehicle.
Torvill Drive – 30/01/2012 - Unknown suspects have smashed front window of parked motor vehicle



UPDATE - NOVEMBER 2011
(1st to 31st October)

During October 2011 there have been 7 burglaries in the Wollaton East beat.

Houses have been broken into on the following roads:

Allotment Gardens on Russell Drive, Tom Blower Close, Harrow Gardens, Archer Crescent, Reynolds Drive, Charlbury Road and Hollinwell Avenue. There are several patterns within the burglaries. One is a male aged around 40 years who purports to be a window cleaner to approach properties without being suspected. He carries ladders and a bucket but will return later to commit the break in.
The other is a group of three 16 year old white males who gain entry by kicking in the panels in UPVC doors, normally at the back of the property. These offences generally have occured in the evening or overnight.

During October 2011 there have been 4 vehicles broken into, stolen, or had thefts from them in the Wollaton East Beat.

They have occurred on the following streets:

BT Exchange on Lambourne Drive, Welwyn Road, Wollaton PH on Lambourne Drive, Liddell Grove and Ranelagh Grove. These offences generally have occured in the evening or overnight.

During October there have been 3 offences of Criminal Damage.

They have occurred on the following streets.

Middletons Public House on Trowell Road, Archer Crescent and Wollaton Road.

During October Wollaton East has had 13 reported incidents of anti-social behaviour.
None have resulted in being crimed with ASB numbers.
