  • February
    • 15th Ward Walk
      Grangewood Road with the junction of Humberston Road, 1:00pm - 3:00pm
      The ward walk is where the Councillors, Neighbourhood Action Officer and your Local Beat Team meet up with local residents and walk round an area discussing issues you may be experiencing. On this occassion this will encompass the following roads - Benington Drive, Surfleet Close, Grangewood Road, Humberston Road, Riseholme Avenue, Edlington Drive, Oakfield Road, Hilary Close, Ravensdale Drive and Mapledene Crescent. This is a council run operation where council issues will be raised by members of the public and will be actioned by partners within the council and always the local police.

    • 13th Local Area Group Meeting
      Wollaton Library Bramcote Lane, 1:30pm - 2:30pm
      This is a joint partnership meeting with residents to attend and inform both the police and council of any issues or concerns you may have within your local area. The neighbourhood Policing Team will be able to inform you of recent incidents of crime within the area. Crime prevention advice will be given out and contact details of the beat team.

      Court Yard Wollaton park, 2:00pm - 4:00pm
      A chance to meet your Safer Neighbourhood Team and for members of the public to discuss any issues within your area and to receive crime prevention advice.

    • 7th Christmas Light Switch on
      Bramcote Lane, 12:00am - 12:00am
      This is where the whole community gather around for the Christmas light switch on. The council will do all the organising and work together with other partner agencies and have some entertainment for the residents of Wollaton.
