Team Inspector
Inspector Steve Payne
Inspector Steve Payne has been a police officer for 28 years.
He has previously served in most areas of the force, both in uniform and CID and recently moved from the Professional Standards Directorate where he was responsible for introducing new Conduct and Performance regulations for police officers.
Insp Payne has temporarily taken over from Inspector Will Chell. He moves from the Response Section at Radford Road but has previously been a Neighbourhood Police Inspector at Bingham and in Nottingham City Centre.
“ I will look to build on the work started by Inspector Chell and continue to develop partnership working to solve problems, in particular those around repeat domestic disputes and antisocial behaviour.
“My officers are committed to making your area a safer one to live and work and will do everything they can to address any concerns you have.”
