Beat Update
Updated 30/04/2012
Dear Bulwell Forest North Residents,
I hope you will be pleased to read that to date crime in your area has continued to decrease, overall crime is now showing at a decrease of 22.2% year to date which equates to a further 6 less crimes being reported this year than last year.
Last month we saw a big increase in lead thefts in the Heronridge area, if you see anyone taking a particular interest to peoples properties who have lead flashing anywhere on their homes then please report this suspicious behaviour on the Nottinghamshire Police non-emergency contact number, 101, or for emergencies or if you see someone in the process of committing a crime then always dial 999.
If you wish to make contact with your local Safer Neighbourhood Team you can visit the website http://www.nottinghamshire.police.uk/ and put your postcode in half way down the home page. This will take you to your local page with information on the local priority, what is being done to tackle this and all the contact details for your local team.
If you have any other concerns you can talk to one of the local officers either by visiting one of our Beat Surgeries, please see the Local Events listed on the website, or by using the contact numbers for your team which are also listed on the website.
Please take a look at the Top Valley and Rise Park Community centre timetable as there are several activities that you and your family could take part in the day and the evening.
Summer is definitely on its way which will bring the long summer nights and people will want to be outside for longer in the evening. Please be mindful of what your youngsters are up to. One of the biggest problems the police have to deal with is Anti Social Behaviour, positive and proactive action will be taken with those few causing ASB in the neighbourhood.
