Beat Update
Update - 18th May 2012
Although much progress has been made in reducing crime in the area, anti social behaviour is still an issue which affects some residents . There has been an increase in reported issues of Anti Social behaviour in and around the Saint Peters Church park and Church grounds off Churchfield Lane and Radford Grove Lane. However, regular patrols by the Neighbourhood Policing Team and a great effort by Mr Rob Gabbitas from Nottingham City Council Neighbourhood Action Team plus a group of resident volunteers in assisting in clearing away overgrown bushes and litter in the park has helped considerably to reduce this problem.
Continuing to tackle the problem of anti social behaviour in response to what the public have requested , I have reviewed and amended the Leen Beat priorities to be Anti Social Behaviour based.
A response to counter these problems is an increase in uniform high visibility patrols whereby name checks are conducted on suspected persons and arrests are made if appropriate.
Intelligence is also gathered in an effort to achieve a reduction in this kind of offence and to ensure continued public reassurance.
Please continue to report incidents and cases of Anti Social behaviour on 101 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
