PARKING COURTESY
On street parking in Lenton Abbey continues to be a problem.
It is clear that there is no simple solution.
We would encourage all residents and visitors to the area to be considerate to others when they park their vehicles.
Please observe the following suggestions.
* Park in a way that does not obstruct access to driveways.
* If you need to park partially on the pavement, make sure there is sufficient room for mobility scooters; push chairs etc to be able to pass.
* If you have a hedge, please make sure it is cut back to the property boundary. Do not let it obstruct any part of the pavement.
* Don't park too close to junctions.
If residents wish to report vehicles causing an obstruction they can do so by contacting Nottinghamshire Police at the new 101 telephone number.
If the vehicle is believed to belong to a student, University security can also be contacted on 0115 9513013.
