Meet the Neighbourhood Policing
Team Inspector
Inspector Rob Wilson
Inspector Robert Wilson has served as a Police Officer with Nottinghamshire Police for 23 years and began working as Neighbourhood Policing Inspector for the Canning Circus policing area in January 2012.
Prior to this, Inspector Wilson worked as Neighbourhood Policing Inspector at Oxclose Lane and before that as Demand Management Inspector covering the Canning Circus, Central and South areas of the City Division.
He said: “I am delighted to again have the opportunity to work in the Canning Circus area which covers Lenton, Radford, The Park, Dunkirk, Wollaton and Lenton Abbey, QMC and University campus, areas which I have policed extensively in both uniformed and CID roles during my career."
“I work with a team of Beat Managers, Police Community Support Officers and Community Protection Officers who form the Neighbourhood Policing Teams. Together with officers who provide 24 hour response to incidents and CID officers, we work closely with partners agencies, local groups and individuals to reduce offending and build safer and stronger communities.”
