St Ann's Well Road

Back to St Ann's and Sneinton

The St Anns Wells Road Beat is mainly a residential area largely made up of social housing and is bordered by Shelton Street to the West, Abbotsford Drive to the North, Ransom Road to the East and Beaconhill Rise to the South. There is one School within the Beat which is St Anns Well Primary School. At the centre of the Beat is Robin Hood Chase which encompasses a variety of shops and the local Community Centre.

Under the Policing Pledge, this is an urban beat and has a 15 minute emergency response time. For an explanation of what this means click here.

Beat Update

5/1/2012

Your local Beat Team remains dedicated to making your area a safe and crime free place to live. They actively patrol the estates and gather relevant intelligence.

If you witness any crimes, or know the identity of those responsible, we would urge you to report these details to the Police.

Children will always be looking for activities to keep them busy. I would like to ask all parents to speak to their children and actively discourage them from causing a nuisance on the estates. Local youth centres are available where they can engage in a number of activities.

We would also ask parents to discourage their children from playing football in the street. This not only causes annoyance to local residents but is also dangerous for the child.

Home security should remain a priority for all residents. I would urge all residents to ensure their property is secure whilst they are away or asleep.

I would like to ask the community to help us make their area a better place. If you witness any activity that causes problems in your area please report these to us. If you know the identity, or addresses, of any persons causing concern you can report these in the strictest of confidence.

If you require any home security advice you can contact a member of your local Neighbourhood Policing Team.

If you require Smartwater in your home you can also arrange this through your local NPT.

If you witness any persons acting suspiciously in the area please call the Police. Please look out for each other and help keep the community safe. You can contact a member of your local Neighbourhood Police Team or any of the numbers below:
