    The Giltbrook / Newthorpe Local Beat Team will be in the area carrying out a high visibility static observation patrol. Crime prevention advice will be passed out and the latest figures will be given out to local residents.

    Northern Cluster policing team which covers Brinsley, Awsworth, Cossall, Eastwood North, Newthorpe and Giltbrook will be holding a meeting to discuss and set the priorities for these areas for the next 3 months. This meeting is open to the general public and key members of the community. This is a great opportunity to find out what is going on with policing in your community and have your say.
