Beeston North beat is a residential area made up of the Bramcote Hills estate and Beeston Fields estate. Beat Update
UPDATE FEBRUARY 2010 BY PC 3043 ANDY HALLSWORTH
PCSO Craig Cooper and I have been busy patrolling the area. Craig has recently assisted the Police in arresting two people for theft. It is believed that the offenders could have been responsible for various street robberies in our area.
I have been arresting offenders for being drunk and causing anti social behaviour on Central Avenue, Beeston. I have charged and bailed to crown court eight offenders for the affray occurring on Wallett Avenue last October 2009, with strict bail conditions.
Crime has been reduced in Beeston by 38% on the same time last year. It seems that due to the arrests on Central Avenue and extra police presence in the Central Avenue area there are fewer reports of anti social behaviour by residents.
Craig and I are busy working with Broxtowe council anti social behaviour team to make Beeston North a better and safer place to live. We are currently working on several anti social behaviour orders on a number of offenders who frequent our area.
