Neighbourhood Priorities
Through consultation with the members of the public in this neighbourhood we regularly set out a number of priorities to be tackled.
- Speeding Traffic - Mapperley, Kingswell, Woodthorpe and Killisick Show details
As a result of the Neighborhood Priority Setting Meeting held on 12th April 2012, this priority was highlighted as being of concern and work will be carried out on it for the next three months in order to reduce the number of speeding vehicles
Speeding Traffic is an issue in mainly the Woodthorpe and Killisck areas of the cluster.
Our Response
Over the next week all beat managers are due to be trained on the use of the mobile speed gun allowing them to conduct speed checks in all of the effected areas. Vehicle travelling at excessive speeds will then be stopped and may be issued fixed penalty notices. Also PCSO’s will be conducting high visibility patrols in certain areas to reduce speeding traffic.
This priority will be reassessed at the next public Priority Setting Meeting at 11am on the 18th July 2012 at The Civic Centre, Gedling Borough Council. - Anti-Social Behaviour – Killisick Ward, Arno Vale Recreation Ground, Arnold Town Centre Show details
