Inspector Al Pearson

Inspector Pearson has served with Nottinghamshire Police since 1995.

Before joining Nottinghamshire Police he served with the Royal Hong Kong Police for three years.

Insp Pearson began his work in Nottinghamshire at Beeston Police Station, followed by stints in the Wollaton and Stapleford areas. He then moved to work in the Meadows and prior to getting promoted to the rank of Sergeant he worked in the Retail Crime Unit based at Nottingham Bridewell.

As a Sergeant, Insp Pearson worked in Prisoner Handling teams, Response Patrol teams, Neighbourhood Policing and finally South Nottinghamshire Division's Divisional Support Teams who specialise in Public Order Policing, surveillance, and proactive execution of drugs and serious acquisitive crime warrants.

Since promotion to the rank of Inspector in August 2009 he has worked as a Demand Management Inspector in charge of Uniform Response Teams and now as the Neighbourhood Policing Inspector for Gedling Borough on the County South Division.

Insp Pearson says: “I am totally committed to ensuring that the people and communities of Gedling receive an excellent service from all of the officers that work on this area.

"I would appeal to anyone who has any information about criminal activity or antisocial behaviour in the area, to contact their local beat team, whose details can be found on our website, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
