Appeal after girl, 8, is injured in collision

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dash cam footage to come forward following a crash in Sneinton which left an eight-year-old girl injured.

The girl was involved in a collision with a car in Sneinton Dale, near the junction with Ashfield Road, just after 6pm yesterday (Tuesday 12 June 2018). She was taken to hospital to be treated for a broken ankle.

A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop after a collision. He has been released under investigation.

Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or any drivers who have dash cam footage to get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident number 708 of 12 June 2018, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
