Three men escaped with cash after a robbery at a pet store.

Two members of staff were forced into an office and ordered to open a safe by the men, who were wearing face coverings.

A customer who walked in during the robbery was also forced into the office and they were all told to lie down, before the men ran off.

The incident happened at the Kennelgate Pet Superstore in Trowell Road, Wollaton, at around 7.30pm yesterday (Thursday 4 January).

No weapons were seen and no one was hurt.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious before, during or after the incident is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 663 of 4 January 2018.

101 is the number to call when you need to contact Nottinghamshire Police and it’s less urgent than a 999 call. Calls cost 15p, no matter how long the call lasts.
