Man dies following A453 collision

A 67-year old man has died following a single vehicle collision on the A453 at Clifton near to the Crusader island earlier this evening (Monday 20 November).

Nottinghamshire Police were called just before 6.35pm to the report of the collision.

Ambulance crews attended and conveyed the man – the driver and single occupant of the vehicle – to Nottingham’s Queen's Medical Centre, where he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

Detectives from the East Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit have also attended the scene as they worked to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision.

Detectives are not currently looking for any further witnesses or vehicles in connection with the incident.
