Teenager charged over St Ann's stabbing appears in court

A 16-year-old boy has appeared in court charged in connection with a stabbing in St Ann’s.

The boy, who can't be named for legal reasons, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates' Court today (Wednesday 16 May 2018) charged with GBH (Section 18 wounding), possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis.

The boy was remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 6 June 2018.

It follows an incident in Ransom Road which happened at about 7.50am on Monday.

A 16-year-old boy was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre with injuries and was subsequently discharged.
