Three boys arrested following city centre incident

Three boys have been arrested following a report of an altercation involving two groups of males in Nottingham city centre yesterday (Tuesday 26 December 2017).

It happened in Clumber Street at about 4.30pm. No-one was injured.

Three boys, aged 15, 13 and 13, were arrested by officers following a foot pursuit.

The 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of cannabis.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of a knife.

The other 13-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of affray, possession of a firearm in a public place, possession of a knife and another bladed article and possession of cannabis.

All three remain in police custody.
