Warrants executed in Nottingham

Drugs and cash have been seized in raids at properties in Nottingham.

Police executed a warrant at a house in New Basford on 7 September as part of a drugs investigation. A 24 year-old-man was arrested on possession with intent to supply drugs and released under investigation.

A further warrant was carried out on 11 September at an address in in Bobbersmill where drugs, including Mamba and a quantity of cash were recovered.  A 37 -year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and released under investigation.

Chief Inspector Simon Allardice said: “These warrants were part of ongoing work in Nottingham to target drugs and related crime. “We are committed to working with local communities to tackle this type of crime and information from the public that helps us target those involved in drugs and violence is vital.“I would urge anyone who has information that could assist us to get in touch as even anonymous information helps us make communities safer.”
