Man charged with assault after police appeal
March 20, 2017
A Nottingham man is due to appear in court charged with assault.
Nathan Brandy, 33, of Beverley Square in Nottingham, contacted Derbyshire Constabulary following an appeal for information last week.
Detective Constable Pete Matthewman issued the appeal because he was trying to trace Mr Brandy to speak to him about an alleged assault in Derby in February.
He was arrested today and charged with assault. He is due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on April 5.
101 is the number to call when you need to contact Nottinghamshire Police and it’s less urgent than a 999 call. Calls cost 15p, no matter how long the call lasts.
