Manvers Court update: Two men charged
June 12, 2017
Two men have been charged with drug offences following a search on Wednesday 7 June 2017 at property in Manvers Court, Sneinton.
On searching the property officers believe they found equipment and materials typically used in the production of making drugs.
Julian Sanby a 55-year-old man of Manvers Court and Jeremy Shaw a 45-year-old man also of Manvers Court were both charged with production of a class B drug and the attempted production of a class A drug.
Both men have been remanded in custody and will appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 7 July 2017.
Some of the materials at the property required the attendance of Joint Services Explosive Ordinance Disposal Engineers to make sure they were safe. The community was reassured by officers that the incident was not being linked to terrorism.
