Arrests made following drug operation

Officers have made six arrests following a drug dealing operation in Nottingham City today (Friday 16 June 2017).
Plain clothed officers were deployed into a number of locations around the city and witnessed a number of suspected drug deals.
Two men, a 49-year-old and a 36-year-old were arrested on suspicion of drug offences and remain in police custody. A further four men, aged 23, 30, 31 and 35 were also arrested on suspicion of drug offences and have been questioned by officers and released under investigation.
Several quantities of what is believed to be drugs have been recovered as part of the operation.
The operation follows calls to the emergency services to assist people who are suffering with the effects of psychoactive substances and Nottinghamshire Police continue to work with partners to tackle the supply of these drugs.
