Appeal to identify park offender

Police are asking the public for help to identify a man who carried out a lewd act in a Mansfield park.
It happened between 2pm and 3pm on 28 July 2010, in Berry Hill Park, Mansfield, as a 13-year-old girl was sitting having a picnic with her friends.
The man came out of some bushes nearby and carried out the lewd act.
He is described as white, around 40-years-old, and 5ft 10” tall. He was balding and ‘quite fat’ and was wearing a white t-shirt and grey shorts.
The park is well used and officers believe a number of people in the park at the time may have seen the man.
