Arson suspect remanded

An 18-year-old who is alleged to have carried out four arson attacks in Nottingham has been remanded into custody.

Dwain West is charged with four separate arsons, committed in the Snapewood Estate, Bulwell, in the early hours of Saturday 21 August.

Appearing at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Monday August 23) he was remanded to a Young Offenders’ Institution.

West, of Oak View, Radford, will appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday September 6.
