Suspected drug dealer charged with 20 offences

A 30-year-old man suspected of drug dealing in Nottingham has been charged.
Alwayne Tonzrah Nathaniel Barnes is alleged to have supplied heroin and crack cocaine on 20 occasions between October 2009 and February this year.
The offences are all alleged to have taken place in the St Ann’s and City Centre areas of Nottingham.
Barnes has been charged with 20 counts of supplying class A drugs, or being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
He has also been charged with attempted armed robbery, in connection with an offence at Porchester Road Post Office, Thorneywood, on July 29, 2009.
Appearing at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Monday August 30), Barnes, of Valley Road, Sherwood, was remanded into custody.
He will appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday September 13, 2010.
