Wheelie bin used at Jacksdale house arson

Police are hunting arsonists who used a wheelie bin to set fire to a property in Jacksdale.

It happened around 4.50am on Sunday 29 August, at the house in Sedgewick Street, Jacksdale.

A wheelie bin was pushed against the front door and set alight, causing the blaze to ignite a ground floor room.

The occupants escaped without any injuries.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone with information or who was in the area at the time.

Anyone who witnessed the fire or with information is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
