Woman's handbag stolen in street robbery

Police are hunting at least two men who robbed a woman at gunpoint.
It happened around 12.20pm yesterday (Wednesday 1 September) in Moor Street, Netherfield.
As the 49-year-old woman walked away from a vehicle, the offenders approached from behind and threatened her with a firearm.
They stole her handbag, which contained a significant amount of money.
The suspects are believed to have made off in a red car.
The victim, who is believed to have been specifically targeted, was uninjured but left shaken by the ordeal.
Detectives are keen to speak to people in the area who saw anyone acting out of the ordinary in Moor Street or Ashwell Street, Netherfield between 11.30am and 12.30pm.
A 28-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the robbery. Both are currently in custody.
