Did you witness convenience store robbery in Carlton?

Officers are appealing for information following a robbery at a convenience store.

Two men wearing face coverings jumped over the counter and pushed the shopkeeper before taking cigarettes and cash.

The incident happened at Standhill Stores, Standhill Road, Carlton, at around 7.05pm yesterday (Saturday 30 December).

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or anything suspicious before or after it, is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 732 of 30 December 2017.

101 is the number to call when you need to contact Nottinghamshire Police and it’s less urgent than a 999 call. Calls cost 15p, no matter how long the call lasts.
