Man charged after disturbance outside city centre restaurant

Police have charged a man following a disturbance outside a restaurant in Nottingham.

Officers received a report of a disturbance outside McDonalds in Clumber Street which happened at around 4.20am on Monday (1 January 2018).

Dureece Smith, 20, of Ransom Road, Nottingham, is charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

He has been bailed to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 30 January 2017.
