Committees
As well as holding ten full meetings a year, Nottinghamshire Police Authority has four specialist committees which meet regularly to discuss important business and a number of smaller working groups and panels whose works feeds into these committees.
Since it would be impractical for all Police Authority members to sit on every committee or panel, members are appointed to different committees or panels depending on their skills, interests and experience.
