Nature of the misconduct allegation
On 11 March 2022, former PC Barker was involved in an incident whilst off-duty. He provided a statement on the same date. This resulted in a member of the public, (Person A) being charged with one offence of assaulting an emergency worker.
It is alleged that former PC Barker later accessed police systems in respect of this incident without a policing purpose and / or lawful authority.
